FC Dallas ~ Collin Community Night

Let's show our support for FC Dallas by taking our team to the October 2nd game vs. Chicago Fire at 7:30 pm.

FC Dallas is currently enjoying a record undefeated streak of 15 games, let's help them continue this great run!

ALL KIDS ARE FREE!! Adults are just $15.
Proceeds benefit Allen schools.
If you can join us please let me know ASAP so I can get a head count & get it all arranged.

We will meet at FC Dallas/Pizza Hut Park in uniform to participate in the parade before the game.
I hope that everyone can make it!

TFC Academy Program

I strongly encourage everyone to consider having our girls participate in this - it can be one time session or as many as you like.

Sessions are held on monday evenings (now until November 17th) from 5:30 to 7pm, and each session costs $10 per player.

If we can get all or most of the girls involved they will give us a free session and other lovely perks that you will hear more about very soon!

Sessions are held at the Allen Training Fields on Stacy Rd & Hwy 121.

a note from Coach J ~ Eagle Cup :)

I am so very proud of our girls :) They did an amazing job at the Eagle Cup under very trying circumstances! I don't know that any one of us could say that we could have stayed in every game with hardly any substitutions like they did. On friday we held our own and got lots of great opportunities - Congrats to Isabella for scoring the first goal! We are very happy to have you on Team Pinkalicious & I see a wonderful player emerging!! Our defense got a workout at the tournament, as did our Goalies. For never having played the Keeper position before, EVERY girl on our team did REMARKABLY well :) Saturday was an emotional day for me, and the girls. No extra players to sub and give anyone rest, both teams we played against were 7-8 year olds (who looked to be in 3rd grade!), and opposing coaches and players with less than commendable sportsmanship. I hope that each girl who participated feels as proud of themselves as I do of them. I am more excited about our season than ever. Most importantly, if you haven't done so already, give your girls a big hug, tell them how much you enjoyed seeing them give their all on the soccer field, seeing them show the best sportsmanship by picking up their teammates when the fell, and especially how proud you are of them for never giving up.

It is not how big you are, it's how big you play. ~Author Unknown

Info for Snack Captains!

Snacks should assist the team members in replenishing quick energy and electrolytes (potassium, magnesium, phosporus, sodium) that may have been lost at game play.

Any of these or evan a combination may be good options:
- Fresh, cold fruit (already cut up) or easy-to-peel fruit such as bananas or clementines
- Salty, low-fat foods such as pretzels, goldfish, Baked scoops
- Granola bars (recomendations attached)
- Nuts are good ONLY if there are no girls with nut allergies on the team!! Otherwise, I don't recommend.
- Healthy trail mix (recipe attached)

All snacks should be easy to grab and ready to eat.

Thanks to Angela for all the great info!!

Eagle Cup Tournament

Friday night @ 6pm - Field 12 vs. Lightning
**be on field at 5:00 in full uniform ready to go**
I know this sounds crazy but we have to check in 45 minutes before our first game

Saturday @ 8am - Field 10 vs. Pumas
**be on field at 7:45 in full uniform ready to go**

Saturday @ 11am - Field 11 vs. Panthers
**be on field at 10:45 in full uniform ready to go**

I think with such a busy schedule we can handle our own kids' snacks at the tournament - I encourage the parents to bring a cooler with plenty of gatorade or water & healthy food choices so our girls can build their energy and play their best!

Full uniform:
Pinkalicious jersey(tucked in), black soccer shorts, shinguards w/ black socks (must cover shinguards completely), soccer cleats
No jewelry or metal hair barrettes. Earrings MUST be removed.
Please bring your balls to the games for pre-game warm ups.
